Is LV Typing an official government website?
No. LV Typing is an independent educational practice platform. Official recruitment instructions must be checked on the recruiting authority’s website or official notice.
Why do different exams have different typing screens?
Recruitments can use different software, layouts, language options, timing and evaluation methods. LV Typing uses a reusable typing engine with separate interface templates so an exam can have its own visual workflow without requiring a completely separate website.
Can I practise both English and Hindi?
Yes, where the relevant exam profile and practice passages support those languages. The exact target speed and duration shown in an exam simulation come from that exam profile.
What is Mangal/Inscript?
Mangal is a Unicode Devanagari font commonly used with standard Unicode Hindi input. Inscript is a keyboard layout for entering Indian scripts. An exam may specify a particular font, layout or input method, so practise the method required by your recruitment.
What is Kruti Dev?
Kruti Dev is a legacy Hindi font family used with a different keyboard mapping from Unicode Inscript. If a recruitment permits or requires Kruti Dev, practise in the matching mode rather than assuming Unicode and Kruti Dev behave the same way.
Does the website score exactly like the official exam?
Only when the official evaluation method is known and has been implemented for that exam profile can the simulation attempt to model that method. Even then, the official examination system is the final authority. Website results are practice results.
Why does a live test open full-screen?
The live workspace is intentionally separated from the normal website layout so the student sees a focused exam-like screen rather than the site’s navigation, articles and other distractions.
Do I need an account for every practice test?
No. Free public practice can remain accessible without an account where configured. An account is useful for future features such as saved history, premium access and personal progress.
How do I create an account?
Use the Login / Sign Up button in the website header. Choose Create Account, enter a valid email address and password, and the website will create a student account if registration is enabled.
Will there be a premium plan?
Premium features are planned for additional practice sets, advanced progress tools and an ad-free experience. Paid access should only be enabled after the payment and entitlement system is fully tested.
Can an exam rule change after I have practised it?
Yes. Recruitment bodies can revise rules or use a different interface in a later cycle. Always check the latest official instructions before the real examination.
How can I report an incorrect rule?
Use the Contact page and, if possible, include the official notification or source that supports the correction.
