This page explains how LV Typing separates verified exam rules, interface references, practice settings and original educational content.
1. Source priority for exam rules
For exam-specific factual rules, the preferred source is the latest applicable official notification or official typing-test instruction issued by the recruiting authority. If multiple official documents exist, the document applicable to the relevant recruitment cycle should be given priority.
2. What counts as an interface reference
A screen recording, photograph or reliable candidate experience can help reproduce the visual flow of an examination. That evidence can support the layout of a simulation, but it should not be used to invent an official typing rule that the evidence does not establish.
3. Verified fields versus practice defaults
Exam profiles may contain fields such as duration, target speed, minimum accuracy, passage length, keyboard layout, backspace behaviour and evaluation method. A field should be treated as verified only when there is adequate evidence. A practice default is not automatically an official rule.
4. Recruitment changes
Recruiting bodies can change rules between cycles. LV Typing therefore treats exam profiles as updateable data rather than permanently assuming one rule set applies to every future recruitment.
5. Original educational and practice content
Typing-learning guides are written to teach principles and practice strategies in original wording. Production practice passages should be original, appropriately licensed or otherwise lawfully usable, and should be reviewed for quality and usefulness before being published to students.
6. Corrections
When a credible correction is received, the relevant source is checked before an exam profile is changed. If the evidence is incomplete, the field can remain unverified rather than being filled from guesswork.
7. Independence
LV Typing is an independent practice platform. Reproducing an exam-like workflow is intended to make practice useful; it does not imply official endorsement or ownership of the real examination software.
8. Student responsibility
Every candidate should read the latest official notification and instructions before an examination. LV Typing is a preparation aid and cannot replace the recruiting authority’s current instructions.
